Top Trucks for 2019 and 2020

Automotive polls indicate that trucks are the most desired vehicles in America in 2019 and going into 2020, with an estimated 60% of current truck owners stating they’d never give up their trucks. Today truck aficionados have choices galore starting with an impressive small and mid-size pickup all the way up to full-size heavy duty offerings. So no matter if you use your truck for working or cruising around town, you’ll have plenty of attractive models to choose from in 2019 and driving into 2020:

1. GMC Canyon 2020
This mid-sized hibernating compact is leading the charge when it comes to looking ahead to 2020. Firstly, this vehicle is anticipated to literally run down the strongest V6 truck engine currently on the market, all thanks to a fresh 10-speed automatic transmission, 2.7 liter turbocharged L3B 4-cylinder petrol engine with horsepower of 310 hp and boasting 348 pound-feet of torque. While the model will look much the same, why fix it when it isn’t broken. Am I right? But you’ll get it with a choice of  two new trim levels.

2. Jeep Scrambler 2020
If you like the ruggedness of a Jeep mixed with the durability of a pick up truck then you’re no doubt eager for the debut of the Jeep Scrambler.  This truck-jeep hybrid is based on the Jeep CJ-8 Scrambler and the first pick up Jeep has produced in well over 30 years. Although the Scrambler will look a lot like the new JL Wrangler, with it’s removable doors, top, and fold down windshield, the platform of the Scrambler will be all about utility and off-road capability. Choose between 3 engine sizes (i.e., 285-horsepower with 3.6L V6, 270-horsepower with turbocharged 4-cylinder, and 260-horsepower with turbo-diesel V6).

3. Ford Ranger Raptor 2020
Barreling into the mid-size pickup truck category and bowling over the competition is the 2020 Ford Ranger Raptor. With an added 6-inches on it’s descendant the F-150 Raptor, the Ranger Raptor is fully stocked with off-road capability including all-wheel drive, six impressive driving modes, 10-speed automatic transmission, a 2.7L twin-turbo V6 engine with EcoBoost is capable of 335 horsepower, and durable Fox Racing shocks.

4. Ram 2500/3500 2020
Following a complete makeover of the Ram 1500 in 2019, the full sized Ram lineup is debuting in three-quarter-ton and one-ton heavy-duty offerings. The exterior design will be similar minus the crosshair grille and standard Cummins 5.7 liter Hemi V8 and even bigger 6.4 liter Hemi V8 engine, with 383 and 410 horsepower respectively and CGI engine block. The interior stays much the same as well harkening to a little old school charm that die hard Ram fans are notorious for.
